| Mojave Desert Ecosystem Program, MDEP Contains a wealth of information about California’s Mojave Desert. The website includes a data link for a variety of map data, and also has an interactive maps page. The website attempts to be “a comprehensive, shared scientific database that includes easy Internet access to Geospatial natural resource data for the entire Mojave Ecoregion and is a model for the sharing and integration of resource data and expertise.” |

Sacramento Area Council of Governments, SACOG, Mapping Center - Geographic Information Systems
Contains a variety of data about the six county region of El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties. It contains downloadable information, including administrative boundaries, demographic info, information about land ownership parcel maps (but not the maps themselves), land classification, physical geography and resource information, transportation, regional infrastructure, street centerlines, and transit data. Also available are information about various plans for the region. |
