The purpose of this one-and-a-half-day event conference was to inform and guide development of the 2035 update of the State's long-range transportation policy plan, the California Transportation Plan (CTP 2035). The Symposium focused on implementing the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act - A Legacy of Users (SAFETEA-LU) requirements related to early consideration of environmental issues.
